So you got a Blu-Ray player but you don’t know what movies should to buy to show it off…here is where I come in. I am going to give you some recommendations from MY COLLECTION (So they aren’t the only real great Blu’s out there) in three categories: How good the picture looks, how is the sound, how are the special features. PLUS I will tell you which Blu I would recommend in terms of the complete package.

The Lord of the Rings: The Motion Picture Trilogy (Theatrical Editions) [Blu-ray]

I just thought I’d post this here to keep people informed that Peter Jackson did recently say in an interview to not expect LOTR on Blu-Ray before 2010 because they are too busy working on The Hobbit. He did say it’s in the works which is a good thing but we all have to wait till 2010 which just seems so far away. I will def. be buying this trilogy the day it comes out no matter the cost.
